The book informs the practice, but the practice is the work. Extended writing on the book, Career Distress Response, and the field of Career Health lives at the Career Health Institute.
Professional background
More than 20 years with high-achieving professionals.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Pérez-Litwin held a faculty appointment at the New York University School of Medicine and led a research program at an NIH-funded research center. She later served as a research director at Prisma Health.
She has also spent more than two decades building businesses and professional initiatives, including a private practice, a group practice, a career advisory practice, a professional women's network that grew to more than 20,000 members, and the Career Health Institute. Her entrepreneurial work has included collaborations involving organizations such as Google, Twitter, Columbia University, and Harvard University.
This combination of psychology, career advisory, research, entrepreneurship, and lived experience navigating her own professional reinventions informs the way she works with clients today.
