Before we meet
You'll complete brief questionnaires or assessments so we can make the most of our first conversation.
Our Approach
My background is a little different from that of most career advisors.
I'm a psychologist with more than 20 years of experience understanding human behavior, motivation, identity, and the emotional complexities of professional life.
I'm also an entrepreneur with an MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I've founded businesses, advised leaders, navigated professional transitions, and experienced firsthand the challenges and possibilities that come with building a career.
I understand what happens inside people. And I understand the world in which they work.
That combination shapes every conversation.
We can explore the psychological patterns that may be influencing your experience while also examining the practical realities of your career—your opportunities, responsibilities, professional relationships, financial considerations, and ambitions.
The result is advice that considers both who you are and what you want to accomplish.
Sometimes the problem is the job. Sometimes it's the workplace. Sometimes it's the expectations you've placed on yourself or the habits you've developed over years of achievement.
And sometimes it's a combination of all these things.
A career that once felt exciting can become exhausting. A promotion can bring unexpected pressure. An accomplished professional can begin questioning whether the work they've spent decades building still fits the life they want.
I've spent much of my career understanding these experiences and helping people make sense of them.
I've also developed original frameworks and assessments that help me examine how work affects our emotional well-being, thinking, relationships, and everyday lives.
But I never begin with a predetermined explanation or solution.
I begin by understanding you.
Insight is valuable. But so is knowing what to do with it.
Our conversations are designed to help you move forward, whether that means addressing career distress, navigating a challenging professional situation, evaluating an opportunity, or exploring an entirely new direction.
Sometimes the best decision is to make a significant change.
Sometimes it's to approach your current career differently.
And sometimes it's to recognize that what you've built is still worth building on.
My role is to help you understand your situation, consider your options thoughtfully, and make decisions that make sense for your career and your life.
I love working with ambitious people.
People who care about doing excellent work, making meaningful contributions, and continuing to grow.
I don't believe you need to abandon those ambitions to enjoy a healthier, more fulfilling life.
I believe you can pursue success without allowing your career to consume everything else that matters.
That may mean redefining how you work, pursuing a new opportunity, making room for other interests, or simply enjoying more of the life you've already built.
Because a successful career should be part of a good life. Not a substitute for one.
What to Expect
You'll complete brief questionnaires or assessments so we can make the most of our first conversation.
In 50 minutes, we'll explore where you are, what's not working, and what you want to be different. You'll leave with greater clarity and a sense of what to focus on next.
Some clients come for a single session to think through one decision. Others return for ongoing guidance through a transition. There are no packages or long-term commitments. You decide what's right for you.
For a deeper look, the Career Health Assessment gives you a comprehensive picture of how your career is affecting your well-being, identity, and life, along with a clear starting point for change.
